How to Sell Your Property Without a Real Estate Agent

0Dealer Editorial · · Updated · 2 min read

Selling without an agent means you describe the property, publish it where buyers already search, and take the calls yourself. You still need accurate documents and, when the time comes, the usual legal steps for a transfer. You do not need a dealer to create the listing.

Prepare the facts you will publish

Write down the type (house, flat, plot, commercial), the purpose (sale), the location, size as you measure it, and the details a serious buyer will ask first: beds and baths for a home, access for a plot, floor and parking for a flat. Photograph rooms in daylight. Do not invent a price “because the market is X” if you have not compared current listings yourself.

Look at houses for sale and plots in your city so your asking price is a decision, not a rumour.

List where buyers can write to you

On 0Dealer you post the property from your account. The listing is reviewed before it is published. After that, seekers browse property for sale and contact you from the listing.

Keep the description honest. A missing defect that appears on the first visit wastes everyone’s time and undermines the rest of your facts.

Run viewings yourself

Agree a time, meet at the property, and stay for questions. If you cannot be there, send someone you trust and tell buyers who that person is. Do not hand a set of keys to a stranger who offers to “bring clients.”

Stay in the deal

When someone is interested, talk about next steps with them directly: token, due diligence, and the transfer process that applies to your title. Those steps are legal and local. An agent can be hired later as a limited helper if you want one. They are not required to put the property in front of buyers who already use 0Dealer.
